Red Cross Babysitting
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course is for participants who are 11-16 years old. This training course is highly regarded with parents of young children and known as a strong national training program. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care safely and responsibly for children and infants. They will be taught several modules: babysitting business skills, childcare skills of diapering, feeding children, bottle-feeding an infant, leadership skills (encouraging positive behavior and rewards). During the class, participants will learn and practice first aid skills, CPR, abdominal thrusts and the use of an AED.
You will receive an American Heart Association certification valid for two years upon completing the course successfully.
